Celebrating the sea through functional art - sculpture/ vase/ lamp

This piece of art is my personal favourite. It celebrates the Queensland reefs and the ever changing colours of the ocean. Like the sea, this piece changes colour with changing light and backgrounds. I have tried to show how the layered pigments react by placing it against dark and light surfaces. Genuine materials that peek through the surface to be touched. And embedded into the back is a removable vase for your favourite flower or for plant propagation, allowing you to integrate your decor with your own natural environment. And if all that was not enough, it rests on a light base with a USB port and a separate light switch. Adjusting the placement on the light can throw sparkling light onto the wall, or make the entire seascape take on a beautiful new look. Heavy, solid, perfectly crafted and unflawed. However, be warned, if you buy this as a gift, you are probably going to end up keeping it for yourself.
